  • What do I pack?
  • Where have I travelled?
  • Where do I sleep?
  • What do I eat?

A quick chat with Josh:

  • What cycle tourism lessons are you bringing to the conference?
I hope to give those attending the conference the rider’s point of view on travelling by bike. What do cyclists need when travelling by bike and how can you help to cater for them?
  • What are you looking forward to the most at the EuroVelo and Cycle Tourism Conference 2018?
I am looking forward to networking with influential people in the cycle tourism world and hopefully passing on some knowledge to help make the world a better and safer place to cycle.
  • What is the most important impact of cycle tourism, according to you?
Cycle tourism is a fantastic advertisement for a country or region. At cycling speed you see the tiny details and these all add up. I always remember the regions that are the most pleasant to cycle through.
  • What will you visit by bike in Limburg?
I plan to cycle to the conference from the airport, and then use the opportunity to visit some of Belgium’s famous cities on my journey home.

Make sure to attend Josh Ibbett’ presentation on 27 September at 9:30-10:45! The full conference’s programme is available here.
