EuroVelo 3 – COSME project kicks off!

More than 15 participants from seven different countries came together on 11-12 April to discuss a new 18-month project focusing on EuroVelo 3 – Pilgrims Route and funded by the European Commission’s Executive Agency for Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (EASME).

The COSME project, which has a budget of €272,000, aims to strengthen transnational cooperation in the development of EuroVelo 3 – Pilgrims Route as a transnational and cultural long-distance cycle route. The EuroVelo 3 project includes numerous activities, such as:

  • Exchange good practices;
  • Collect data on the existing cycle route;
  • Develop national and transnational action plans;
  • Improve the signposting along the route
  • Prepare and publish promotional material related to EuroVelo 3, such as national and regional websites, photos, a promotional video etc.
