EV15 Inforpoint copyright Stadt BreisachThe project, supported by the federal state Baden-Württemberg, includes the improvement of the signage system, the installation of 20 interactive information points, the integration of the various related cycle routes in the region, as well as the connection to the ICE train station in Freiburg. Through these measures, cycling tourists will be provided with a more exhaustive touristic and gastronomic offer in the participating region north and south of Breisach, whose tourist department is also leading the project.

Through its touchscreens and QR-codes, the information points provide high-quality and up-to-date infrastructure to the tourists. These information points have been designed in the Demarrage corporate design and are the first to implement the results of the project. Furthermore, their implementation will be easily reproducible for other public bodies along the route.

The project is implemented by the eight following project partners in the counties Breisgau-Hochschwarzwald and Emmendingen: Neuenburg, Hartheim, Breisach, Vogtsburg, Sasbach, Wyhl, Weisweil and Rheinhausen. It builds on the work of the successful Demarrage project, which was co-financed by the EU.
